How the Process Works

Getting your marriage contract finalized is as simple as saying "I do!" Start by completing our easy online form. Once submitted, our Notary will email you requesting copies of both partners’ IDs. After that, we’ll draft the contract and send it to you for signature. You don’t even need to visit our office—sign electronically, or print, sign, scan, and email it back to us.

Next, we’ll issue a Notarial Certificate for you to hand over to your pastor or marriage officer. This ensures your marriage is registered at Home Affairs as out of community of property. We’ll then lodge your contract at the Deeds Office for registration. Once it’s registered (approximately 7 working days), we’ll notify you. You can either collect the registered contract from our office or have it couriered to you for a small fee of R250. It’s seamless, stress-free, and tailored to your love story.
